Jul 21, 2007 by K B | Posted in Men's Health

here is some viagra info you should know if you plan to take viagra.

Viagra FAQ

Q. How does Viagra work?
A. Viagra belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 or PDE-5 inhibitors. It works to relax the muscle that can block blood flow to the penis. Without this blood flow there is no erection. So if this muscle is not regulated, you get no ejection.Viagra works by dilating blood vessels in the penis, allowing the inflow of blood needed for an erection. Viagra causes erections only during sexual excitement. It does not work in the absence of arousal.

Q. How long does the effect of Viagra last?
A. For most men, it lasts for up to 4 hours or until orgasm.

Q.What the side effects of Viagra?
A.The most commonly reported side effects with Viagra are: headache, flushing, stomach ache, and mild and temporary visual changes (color perception changes, light perception changes, and blurred vision).
If your erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help.

Q. Can Viagra be used by women?
A. No. Viagra is not recommended for women.Yet, understanding that men aren't the only ones who have sexual problems, researchers are studying to see if Viagra can work for women as well.

Q. Viagra and alcohol?
A. Drinking alcohol can temporarily impair your ability to get an erection. To get the maximum benefit from your medication, you should not drink large amounts of alcohol before taking Viagra.

Q. Can Viagra be taken after after eating?
Q. Yes, but if you do so after a high-fat meal it may take Viagra longer to work.
oral tablets in 25 mg-, 50 mg- and 100-mg strengths.

Q. How often can Viagra be taken?
A. No more than a pill a day.

Q. What is the recommended dosage of Viagra?
A. Viagra is taken orally as a once-daily dose, an hour before sexual activity. Doses range from 25 milligrams to 100 milligrams, depending on the drug''s effect. The usual dose is 50 milligrams. If you are over 65, have liver or kidney problems, or are taking erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, or saquinavir a dose of 25 milligrams may be sufficient. For more detailed information, check with your physician.

Q. Does Viagra work immediately after it is taken?
A. For VIAGRA to work, there has to be sexual stimulation. VIAGRA is not an aphrodisiac or a hormone. It is a medicine that treats erectile dysfunction.

Q. Who should not take Viagra?
A. Viagra isn't for everyone. If you use drugs that contain nitrates, such as nitroglycerin (drugs commonly used for the treatment of chest pains due to heart disease), you should not use Viagra. Taking Viagra with any nitrate medicine can cause your blood pressure to suddenly drop to an unsafe or life-threatening level. You could get dizzy, faint, or even have a heart attack or stroke. Nitrates also found in illegally inhaled drugs (including amyl nitrate, nitrite or "poppers," and others) have the same effect when combined with Viagra.

Cheap Viagra, doesn't sound like a good idea. Buy cheap pot holders, ziplocs or maybe socks...not Viagra.

I agree--cheap medications in general are probably not what you want to put in your body.

Anyone else's yahoo e-mail hacked?

Mar 13, 2010 by Nala | Posted in Other - Yahoo! Mail

About a month ago, the yahoo account I use for friends and family was hacked. An e-mail was sent out to a chunk of my contacts that contained a link to a website to buy viagra. My password was pretty easy to change, so I did, and never had problems again.

About a week ago, my formal yahoo e-mail account (the one I use for work, etc) was hacked, with the person sending out similar e-mails. I hesitated to change the password since it's one I have used for years, but today another e-mail was sent out of the same nature. I changed my password and am hoping this doesn't happen again.

All the e-mails contained a link to a website where you can buy viagra. And the last 2 e-mails had a person's name as the subject line.

Of course, I have never given out my password to anyone. And the old passwords contained both letters and numbers, so I am perplexed as to how they were hacked. I googled for a little, and I have found other people claiming the same things, all within about 6 months.

I am thinking Yahoo must have some virus or hacker, if it has happened to 2 of my accounts and to other people recently. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Oh, and I have a third account that I use when I sign up on for things on websites so that all the spam goes there. Since that address has nothing in the contacts folder, it hasn't been hit. So, if you haven't been hit, could you say if you have any contacts in your address book or not?

Yes, the exact same thing happened to my Yahoo account last night. The subject was a person's name, it was a link to buy Viagra, and it went out to all my contacts. I changed my password right away.

It did not make it to all my contacts--I also got a bounced mailer-daemon message so I am hoping some of the spam filters on the receiving end of the emails recognized it as such so not EVERYONE got this email but I felt really awful this happened. It also sent a text to people's phones that I had stored as emails. It showed up in my "sent messages" as originating from me.

I am usually very careful about my webstuff, so this is really disconcerting and unsettling.

So fed up with these unwanted emails?

Aug 13, 2008 by Gill T | Posted in Spam & Bulk Mail

Could anyone tell me in strict layman's terms how to stop the deluge of emails I am receiving asking me to buy Viagra, Cialis and a whole host of other drugs? Most of them are very explicit in their wording and I am concerned as my 11 year old son also uses my yahoo account to send emails. I have set up the spam filter but every day there are more - 66 yesterday! I thought the filter would stop them but it doesn't. I made the mistake a few months ago of replying to one of these emails asking them to politely stop sending them for the reasons above, but since then it has got 10 times worse! I must admit though to having a laugh at some of the names - this morning I had: Pickens Yawnfully, Spaulding Backblow and Cash Rebukeful to name but a few!
Please, please help as it's driving me mad. (Please don't use technical terms as I'm hopeless with computers!) Thanks

Click "Delete temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and web form info."
Click "Close and then OK.

Why do Yahoo! Groups discourage a new, relevant open source offering?

Dec 10, 2006 by C Neg | Posted in Yahoo!7 Groups

I'm trying to promote a new open source offering- a soapmaking wiki that is like wikipedia- and I post to the group. My message is of the 'please contribute your time and knowledge to the site' nature.

Now, the moderators take it as an ad and won't post it. It IS an ad but it IS non-commercial and it serves only to help their group or business- the site provides a means of cross-promotion with a company and organization directory. Also, people are on those Yahoo groups TO list their services, in other words, commercialism and talk are inherently associated in this domain. Cottage businesses where ladies exchange and talk about recipes and where to buy cheap materials. That being said, it's as if my offering is rejected on the basis that 'I don't know you', or that I am a male. I'm facing the girls club and I'm just an outsider.

Am I totally off mark? I don't think my invitation should be lumped in the same category with viagra and hot teen action.

http://saponaceo.us
I think all of these are good answers, despite the thumbs down. Thank you for taking the time to answer, folks :)

Ads are ad's. Rules are rules. A company the size of yahoo has to apply the rule equally to all for the benefit of all. There is no discrimination.

How do i stop unwanted spam?

Sep 30, 2006 by chasccharles | Posted in Men's Health

I have been inundated with trash e-mail from geocities a client of YAHOO that wants to sell me a penis enlargement patch or viagra. I am a 60 year old male that has been happily married to the same woman for 27 years and I have fathered 6 kids. I have sent a message to these idiots that if they think I need their products to send their wife or girlfriend to me and let them be the judge. I am sick of this trash coming to my e-mail box and 1 want to stop it. There seems to be no way to get in contact with these idiots at geocities unless you buy something

I know what your saying, I'm a girl and I get those emails also. Yahoo is good about sending those directly to my "Bulk" folder but I got tired of deleting them there.
You can go into "Options" on the top right hand side of your email and you can have them automatically delete all your emails that go into your Bulk folder and you never have to see them.
